Are there any nice people left?

I'm going to sit on my soap box and go on a mini-tirade.

Where the hell have all the pleasant, decent people gone? People are total assholes that ruin things for everyone else including my day.

I sold my Billabong Hannah Jacket on ebay a couple weeks ago. It sold for $50. I lost money on that jacket because I paid $65, but whatever. I have no idea how people are managing to sell theirs for $100-$300 because mine didn't even have people looking at it until I lowered the price down to $40. So, this chick e-mails me and is asking a bunch of questions about the jacket, and one of them was to take pictures of it for her. So I did, and I sent her 4 which included closeups and every angle of the jacket. She said she loved it and wanted to buy it. She won the auction, and I mailed it out the next day.

A few days later I get this UNBELIEVABLY hateful e-mail from her saying that I was a liar. She said this wasn't the original Hannah jacket and she couldn't believe that I had deceived her and she asked what I planned to do about it before she started raising holy hell with ebay saying I'm a scammer. I had no idea how to respond to this. So I asked her what the difference was between the original jacket and what I had and how she could even consider me a scammer when I SENT HER ACTUAL PICTURES OF MY JACKET?! I even told her that I would be more than happy to forward her the e-mail that I got from PacSun from their Customer Service department describing the jacket. But, I'm not a total douchebag, so I said if she was unhappy with it or felt that I somehow had this diabolical plan to screw someone over, send the jacket back to me and I'd give her a full refund. Well, she totally dodged all of my questions in her response (figures) and didn't want to see the e-mail from PacSun. But she did decide to throw in there that she could buy my "piece of crap jacket" at TONS of stores near her for less than $40. Apparently, we don't have those special stores where I live because I've yet to see any of Bella's damn jackets under $60. I know there are scammers out there, but I have 100% feedback where people actually say nice things about me other than just the standard "Great seller" and I was selling the thing for $50 goddamn dollars. There are coats from Target worth more than that. And it's not my fault that PacSun gave me the wrong info. I bought the jacket because it said it was THE jacket she wears, and PacSun confirmed it was THE jacket that I would be selling.

So I'm thinking, ok I'll just give her the money back and be done with it and maybe I'll keep the jacket, maybe I'll sell it. I get yet another AWESOME e-mail from her this morning not only giving me the tracking number for the shipment, but then telling me she's expecting her money to be refunded today because according to the tracking number it says it was delivered and I have it. I live in Kansas City. Just a heads up on how to read tracking numbers, WHEN IT SAYS "PROCESSED THROUGH SORT FACILITY IN KANSAS CITY" THAT DOESN'T MEAN IT'S BEEN DELIVERED - WHEN IT SAYS DELIVERED THAT'S WHEN I HAVE IT YOU DOUCHELORD.

THEN she has the audacity to tell me how much she paid for shipping so I can reimburse her for that as well. Seriously? Seriously?! Pretty sure when I return anything anywhere via mail, THEY DON'T RETURN MY SHIPPING COST. She paid $50 for the jacket and $7 for shipping - She's not going to get ANOTHER $7 because she decided to bitch about the jacket and send it back.

I had to vent this out somewhere because this is my first bad ebay deal and I'm considering not selling anymore just so I don't have to deal with the assholes of the world.

Someone needs to throw midol and chocolate at this bitch and call it a day.
